MARÍA JOSÉ VÁSCONEZ

Education 

• Bachelor´s Degree in Business Administration with a major in Financial Administration from the Pontificia Universidad Católica of Ecuador.

• IFRS Specialization Diploma from the Universidad del Pacífico of Peru.

• IFRS Certificate issued by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) of the United Kingdom, a worldwide organization for professional accountants.

• Languages: Spanish and English.

 

Experience

• More than fourteen years of professional development in PwC Ecuador. Significant auditing experience in the following areas: financial, commercial, industrial, pharmaceutical, and non-profit.

• Relevant international experience in IFRS Consulting. Worked in the offices of PwC Peru during 2010.

• More than 1,300 hours of courses taken over the last 7 years, mainly related to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), International Accounting Standards (IAS), methodological updates on auditing and accounting, Internal Control (Cost Reports), risks and controls, tax updates, specialized courses for the financial and insurance sectors, among others.

• Significant experience in IFRS training, analysis, and implementation.

 

CHRISTIAN ROBAYO MOLINA

• Bachelor´s Degree in Business Administration with a major in Financial Administration from the Pontificia Universidad Católica of Ecuador.

• Certified Public Accountant designation from the Pontificia Universidad Católica of Ecuador.

• IFRS Certificate issued by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) of the United Kingdom, a worldwide organization for professional accountants.

• Languages: Spanish and English

 

Experience

• More than thirteen years of professional development in PwC. Significant experience in auditing and accounting consulting for financial, mining, industrial, commercial, and technological entities focusing on the implementation of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

• More than 1,200 hours of courses taken over the last six years, mainly related to: International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS); International Standards on Auditing (ISA); methodological updates on auditing; risk analysis, evaluation and control; law applicable to financial entities and stock markets.

• Significant experience in IFRS training, analysis, and implementation.
